She started her Medical Assisting career in Endocrinology working with diabetics, patients with thyroid disease, and other hormone related illnesses
before beginning her journey in weight loss medicine. She has a passion for helping people and is intrigued by all of the new developments in Obesity perception, evaluation, and treatment.
“I am passionate about weight loss medicine, because I have always struggled with weight management as a type 1 diabetic. Diabetes and other chronic illnesses, cause your weight to fluctuate and can be hard to manage, which affects you physically, mentally, and emotionally.
We all want to be happy, healthy, and comfortable in our own skin. I chose to work in weight loss, because I can connect with patients on a personal level. I love working with bariatric patients because they are truly dedicated individuals who put their trust into our team as we guide them on a life changing journey that they will never forget.
Patients come in to start their journey with very little energy, hoping that we can help them reach goals they have
become frustrated trying to accomplish on their own. They return energized and excited from the progress they have made in just a few weeks. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing our patients looking better, feeling better, and having the confidence to be who they are.”
